The Eveready AA Super Zinc Heavy Duty is a carbon zinc battery delivering 1.5V per cell, supplied in a 4-pack blister. Each cell measures 15mm diameter by 50mm height and uses traditional carbon zinc chemistry optimised for low-drain applications where continuous low current draw is needed rather than high-power bursts.

Designed for wall clocks, remote controls, LED torches on low settings, portable radios and similar devices that draw under 100mA, the Super Zinc range provides economical power where alkaline capacity would go unused. The batteries fit standard AA compartments in household electronics, children's toys running on intermittent use, and backup power for digital clocks and timers.

Carbon zinc batteries deliver their rated capacity most effectively when allowed rest periods between discharge cycles, making them well-suited to devices that switch on and off rather than run continuously.
