The Esta is a 500mm diameter flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome circular frame with six G9 bulb positions set behind a frosted glass diffuser. Multiple tiers of faceted Asfour crystal droplets cascade from the chrome ring, with a central crystal sphere anchoring the composition at the lowest point. The crystals refract light from the six G9 bulbs upward through the diffuser and downward into the room, creating ambient brightness combined with decorative sparkle.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with standard 2.4-2.6m ceiling heights, the 160mm total drop sits close to the ceiling while the 500mm diameter provides coverage for rooms up to 4.5m x 4.5m. The flush mount fixing plate is concealed by the polished chrome canopy and requires a standard UK ceiling rose connection. The frosted glass diffuser softens the direct glare from the G9 capsule bulbs while the surrounding crystal droplets add decorative interest when the light is off and refractive sparkle when lit.

The Asfour crystal used in the droplets is precision-cut optical glass from Egypt, chosen for its consistent clarity and refractive index across production batches. Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 160mm total drop makes this suitable for standard UK ceiling heights of 2.4m and above. The flush mount design sits much closer to the ceiling than a pendant or chandelier, making it a good option for rooms where headroom is limited but decorative lighting is wanted.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, if you install dimmable G9 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly on all dimmer circuits, so check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchasing.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the fitting, as liquid can seep into the bulb sockets or ceiling plate.
