Description

The ESP Duceri is a 3W LED emergency exit sign with a right-pointing arrow legend, designed for surface mounting on walls and ceilings in commercial, industrial and public buildings. The sign runs in maintained mode, meaning it stays illuminated continuously on mains power and switches to battery backup during power loss. A LiFePO4 lithium battery provides 3 hours of emergency duration.

The sign uses SMT 2835 LEDs at 5500K to produce a bright daylight-white output visible up to 25 metres, making it suitable for large open-plan offices, corridors, warehouses and retail spaces. The black steel housing measures 390 x 190 x 60mm and weighs 1.3kg once installed, mounting via fixings on the rear panel. A green LED indicator on the front panel confirms the battery is charged and ready.

The unit complies with BS EN 60598-2-22 for emergency lighting and includes charge and discharge protection circuits to extend battery life. The right-arrow legend directs occupants towards the nearest exit route and is designed to be combined with other Duceri signs (left arrow, straight ahead, or no arrow) to mark full egress paths.

The LiFePO4 lithium battery provides 3 hours of emergency illumination during power loss. The battery recharges automatically when mains power is restored and includes charge/discharge protection to prevent over-charging and deep discharge.

The sign is visible up to 25 metres under normal lighting conditions. This makes it suitable for large open-plan spaces, long corridors and warehouse environments where occupants need to identify exit routes from a distance.

Can it be mounted on a ceiling as well as a wall?

Yes. The sign is designed for surface mounting and can be fixed to walls or ceilings using the rear mounting points. The right-arrow legend is oriented for horizontal installation with the arrow pointing towards the exit route.
