Description

The ESP Duceri is a slimline surface-mounted emergency exit sign with 3W LED illumination (20 SMD 3014 + 4 SMD 2835 LEDs) delivering 48 lumens on mains power and 36 lumens in emergency mode. The sign runs in maintained mode, meaning the LEDs remain lit during normal operation and automatically switch to battery backup during mains failure. A lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery provides 3 hours of emergency duration, with integrated charge and discharge protection to extend battery life.

Designed for commercial, retail and public buildings requiring BS EN 60598-2-22 compliant emergency egress signage, the Duceri mounts directly onto walls and ceilings with the supplied fixings. The 30m viewing distance makes it suitable for corridors, open-plan offices, retail floors and reception areas. The sign ships with interchangeable PVC legends allowing directional configuration (running man left, running man right, arrow up, arrow down) to match specific escape routes.

The white polycarbonate frame measures 328mm wide by 192mm tall with a projection of 35mm from the wall once mounted. At 0.68kg the sign is light enough for plasterboard fixing with appropriate anchors. The 6000K daylight-white LED colour temperature provides high contrast against the green legend background, maintaining visibility in bright ambient conditions. The IP20 rating suits indoor installation in dry locations.

The LiFePO4 lithium battery provides 3 hours of emergency illumination at 36 lumens output. The battery includes charge and discharge protection circuitry to maintain performance over the sign's lifespan.

What legends are included?

The sign ships with interchangeable PVC legends showing the running man symbol with directional arrows (left, right, up, down). Legend dimensions are 300mm x 163.5mm. Install the legend that matches the required escape route direction.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating means the sign is designed for dry indoor locations only. For outdoor or damp locations an IP65-rated emergency sign is required.
