Description

The ESP CAB-20 is a 20-metre combined CCTV camera cable carrying both video signal and DC power in a single run. The cable terminates with a BNC connector for the video signal and a DC power plug at each end, allowing a single cable pull between camera and recorder or power supply without needing separate video and power runs.

Designed for analogue CCTV installations where cameras are mounted up to 20m from the DVR or power source, the combined cable simplifies installation by reducing the number of cable runs needed through walls, ceiling voids and conduit. The BNC video connection maintains signal integrity over the 20m distance for standard-definition and 720p analogue camera systems. The power conductors handle typical 12V DC camera loads without voltage drop issues at this distance.

The cable uses a black PVC outer jacket suitable for indoor installation through standard cable management. At 1.05kg net weight for the 20m coil, the cable remains flexible enough to route through tight spaces and around corners without excessive stiffness. The pre-terminated BNC connectors are metal-bodied with twist-lock coupling, providing a more secure connection than push-fit alternatives and reducing the risk of interference from loose connections.

Frequently Asked

What camera systems is this cable compatible with?

The cable works with analogue CCTV systems using BNC video connections and 12V DC power. This includes standard-definition analogue cameras and 720p AHD/TVI/CVI systems. It is not compatible with IP cameras, which use network cable.

Can the cable be used outdoors?

The cable has a PVC outer jacket designed for indoor installation. For outdoor runs or underground burial, the cable should be protected inside conduit or trunking rated for outdoor use.

What is the maximum camera power draw supported?

The power conductors handle typical 12V DC CCTV camera loads. Most analogue cameras draw between 100-500mA, which is well within the cable's capacity at 20m. Check your camera's power specification to confirm compatibility.

Are longer or shorter lengths available?

ESP produces this cable style in multiple lengths. Use the search function at Niori to find other lengths in stock, or contact us if you need a specific length not listed.
