Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms where a central ceiling rose exists but ceiling height limits the use of a pendant, the Enigma provides distributed light across the room rather than a single downward pool. Each arm can be angled during installation to direct the shades towards different areas of the room, allowing the fitting to be tuned to the space. The dimmable rating means it pairs with standard trailing-edge LED dimmers when fitted with compatible G9 LED bulbs.

The white powder-coated metal frame and frosted glass diffusers give a clean, neutral appearance that works in both contemporary and minimalist interiors without adding strong colour or metallic accent. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor rooms only. The 60cm diameter suits rooms of 12-18m² as a primary light source, or larger rooms where the Enigma acts as secondary or decorative lighting alongside recessed spots or wall lights.

What bulbs does the Enigma take?

The fitting takes three G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3W and 5W at 2700K-3000K for general room lighting. Halogen G9 bulbs are also compatible but draw more power and generate more heat.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The semi-flush design sits approximately 20cm below the ceiling, making it a good choice for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above where a longer pendant would hang too low. Lower ceilings may still accommodate the Enigma if the room is not heavily trafficked.

Can the arms be adjusted?

The arms can be angled during installation to direct the glass shades towards different areas of the room. Once the fitting is installed and powered, the arms remain in the set position unless the fitting is removed and re-angled.

What size room does it suit?
