Description

The Energizer Accu Recharge Base is a charger for AA and AAA nickel metal hydride rechargeable cells, and it comes with four AA cells rated at 1300mAh. Those cells are 1.2V NiMH, which is the normal voltage for a rechargeable AA and a little under the 1.5V of a single use alkaline; almost everything built for AA batteries runs happily on it. The pack states that the charger takes two or four batteries at a time, so a pair that has run flat can go in on its own, and it prints a charge status indicator so you are not guessing at how far along a charge has got.

Four AA cells is the quantity most households get through fastest.
