The Energizer Power Plus AAA rechargeable batteries are 700mAh NiMH cells supplied pre-charged in a 4-pack. Each battery measures 10.5mm diameter by 44.5mm height and operates at 1.2V nominal voltage. The NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) chemistry allows hundreds of recharge cycles, making them a reusable alternative to single-use alkaline AAA cells.

Designed for everyday devices with moderate to high drain rates, these batteries suit wireless keyboards and mice, remote controls, portable audio players, digital thermometers, glucose meters, torches, and children's battery-operated toys. The 700mAh capacity provides several hours of runtime in typical low-drain devices like remote controls, and shorter but adequate runtime in higher-drain devices like wireless game controllers or digital cameras on standby mode. The batteries arrive pre-charged and can be used straight from the pack.

Rechargeable NiMH batteries differ from alkaline in two key ways: they operate at 1.2V instead of 1.5V (most devices tolerate this without issue), and they hold voltage more steadily across their discharge curve, meaning devices don't experience the gradual fade common with alkaline cells.
