Description

The Energizer Max AA alkaline battery is a 1.5V power cell in the LR6 format, supplied here in a bonus pack of eight (4+4 configuration). Each battery uses zinc-manganese dioxide alkaline chemistry to deliver consistent voltage output across a wide range of drain rates, from low-current devices like remote controls and clocks through to moderate-drain devices like digital cameras, torches and wireless keyboards.

Designed for household electronics, portable tools and emergency backup applications, the Max range sits between Energizer's economy alkaline line and the lithium Ultimate range. The batteries carry a 10-year shelf life from date of manufacture, allowing them to be stored in quantity without degradation. The leak-resistant construction provides protection against cell rupture for up to two years after full discharge, reducing the risk of device damage from corroded terminals.

Each AA cell measures 50.5mm length by 14.5mm diameter and weighs approximately 23g. The 4+4 pack configuration provides eight batteries in a blister card designed for retail display, with the bonus four cells acting as a promotion over the standard four-pack format. The batteries are compatible with any device rated for AA alkaline cells and can be used interchangeably with other AA alkaline brands in multi-cell devices.
