Description

This is the 9V block battery, supplied twelve to a box. Each cell is alkaline, holds a nominal 9 volts, and carries the designations printed along the end of the box: 6LR61, EN22, 6AM6, E Block and MN1604. If the manual for your device names any one of those, this is the cell it wants. The shape is unmistakable: a small rectangular block with both terminals on one face, a stud and a socket that clip onto the matching snap connector inside the compartment. The Industrial line arrives in a plain tray box rather than on individual blister cards.

Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are the usual reason a household keeps a 9V in the drawer, and a run of them across a rented property or an office is the usual reason to buy twelve at once.
