The CR2 is a 3V lithium cell, and this blister holds two of them. Lithium chemistry gives the cell two properties you notice in use: it holds close to its full voltage almost to the end of its working life rather than fading away gradually, and it loses very little charge while sitting unused, which is why the pack prints a 10 year shelf life. Can these be recharged?
