The Energizer Alkaline Power AA is a 1.5V LR6 alkaline cell supplied in a 12-battery pack. Each cell uses alkaline manganese dioxide chemistry to deliver sustained voltage across the discharge curve, making them suitable for both low-drain devices (remote controls, wall clocks) and moderate-drain devices (torches, wireless mice, digital cameras).

These batteries carry a 7-year shelf life rating, meaning they retain usable charge when stored in typical household conditions (15-25°C) for up to seven years from manufacture. The leak-resistant construction uses a sealing system designed to prevent electrolyte leakage during storage and normal use, reducing the risk of corrosion damage to battery compartments in devices left idle for extended periods.
