Description

The Energizer 377/376 is a 1.55V silver oxide button cell battery supplied in a 10-pack. Each cell measures 6.8mm diameter by 2.6mm height and delivers stable voltage output suited to precision devices including wristwatches, hearing aids, calculators, medical instruments and digital thermometers. The 377 and 376 designations refer to the same cell — different manufacturers use different part numbers for identical specifications.

Silver oxide chemistry provides a flatter discharge curve than alkaline alternatives, maintaining consistent voltage throughout the battery's working life rather than dropping off as the cell depletes. This makes the 377/376 particularly suited to devices requiring precise voltage regulation, such as quartz watch movements and hearing aid circuits. The cells are rated for operating temperatures from -10°C to 60°C.

Each cell carries a leak-resistant seal designed to prevent electrolyte escape during storage and use, protecting delicate device internals from corrosion. The batteries ship with a shelf life of up to 5 years when stored at room temperature, making the 10-pack format practical for stocking spares for multiple devices or for businesses servicing watches and hearing aids. The compact 24mm x 24mm x 5mm pack fits into toolkits, watch repair benches and medical equipment storage.

Frequently Asked

Are 377 and 376 batteries the same?

Yes. The 377 and 376 designations refer to the same silver oxide button cell with identical specifications (1.55V, 6.8mm diameter, 2.6mm height). Different manufacturers and regions use different part numbers, but the cells are interchangeable. Other equivalent designations include SR626SW and AG4.

What devices use 377/376 batteries?

Common applications include wristwatches (particularly quartz movements), hearing aids, calculators, digital thermometers, laser pointers, small medical devices and some key fobs. Check your device manual or the existing battery for confirmation before purchase.

How long do these batteries last?

Runtime depends on the device's power draw. In a typical wristwatch the 377/376 typically lasts 2-3 years of continuous use. In higher-drain devices like hearing aids, expect shorter runtime. The batteries carry a 5-year shelf life when stored unopened at room temperature.

Can I use alkaline equivalents instead?

Silver oxide cells provide more stable voltage output than alkaline equivalents (LR626 or AG4 alkaline). For precision devices like watches and medical instruments, silver oxide is strongly recommended. Alkaline alternatives may work but will show voltage drop-off sooner and provide less consistent performance.
