Description

The Emily is an 89cm diameter 13-light crystal chandelier built on a polished chrome frame with thirteen upward-curving arms arranged around a central crystal-dressed column. Each arm terminates in an E14 candle fitting (bulbs sold separately), with clear crystal strands hanging from the arms and a continuous curtain of crystal beads forming the vertical column at the centre. The polished chrome finish reflects light across the metalwork while the cut crystal droplets refract it into individual points.

Designed for entrance halls, dining rooms and reception areas with ceiling heights of 3m or above, the Emily provides formal decorative presence combined with practical illumination across a dining table or central floor space. The 1030-2490mm adjustable drop allows the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining surface in rooms with 2.7-3m ceilings, or hung lower in double-height halls with 4-5m ceiling clearance. The 11.5kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load and secure fixing into a joist or ceiling structure.

The combination of polished chrome arms and clear crystal suits both traditional interiors where it acts as a classical centrepiece and contemporary spaces where the chrome reads as a modern accent against neutral walls. Each of the thirteen E14 fittings accepts up to 20W per bulb, giving flexibility to choose LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K) for a softer traditional look or daylight white (4000K) for crisper modern interiors. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Emily takes thirteen E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, each up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are not included. Most buyers pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in either warm white (2700K) for traditional interiors or daylight white (4000K) for contemporary spaces.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier frame itself has no electronics that would prevent dimming.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 1030mm to 2490mm. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with 2.7m ceilings or higher. Double-height entrance halls with 4-5m ceilings can use the full drop to position the chandelier at an appropriate viewing height.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Wipe the crystal droplets and chrome frame with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal fittings or letting water run into the lamp holders. Do not use household sprays or chemical polishes on the crystal.
