Elle 2 Light Chevron Glass Flush Ceiling Light - Black

The Elle is a 305mm flush ceiling light built around a cylindrical drum of chevron-cut glass, capped top and bottom with a matt black metal rim. The glass is cut in a repeating chevron pattern that runs horizontally around the full circumference, creating facets that refract and scatter light from two internal E27 bulbs (sold separately).

Designed for low-ceiling applications where pendant lights cannot drop safely, the Elle fits bedrooms, hallways, cloakrooms and compact living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m. The 125mm fitting height from ceiling to base keeps the profile tight against the ceiling plane while the 305mm diameter provides enough visual presence to anchor a 3-4m room without dominating it. The two E27 sockets accept any standard screw bulbs up to 60W each, allowing flexibility to choose warm white LEDs for ambient use or cooler temperatures for task-oriented spaces.

The chevron-cut glass produces a different visual effect depending on the bulb choice: warm-white filament-style LEDs emphasise the glass texture and create a soft glow through the facets, while frosted LED bulbs diffuse more evenly for general illumination. The matt black metal rim frames the glass cleanly and pairs with black door furniture, window frames and contemporary kitchen cabinetry finishes. The flush mount installs directly onto a standard UK ceiling rose with the wiring concealed inside the black canopy.

What bulbs does it take?

The Elle takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for bedroom or hallway use.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 125mm fitting height makes the Elle suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above. The flush mount sits tight against the ceiling plane without dropping into headroom.
