Description

These are four stoneware side plates, each 20.5cm across and 2cm tall, with a scalloped rim that ripples gently around the edge like a pie crust. The finish is handpainted, and every plate carries its own design of flowers, sprigs and leaves set in a ring near the rim, leaving the centre clear. The four designs differ, from open flowers to slim leafy sprigs, so the plates read as a family rather than four copies. The cream stoneware has a fine speckle through it, which gives the whole set a soft, country kitchen look.
