Seven G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit within the frame, casting light through the upper crystal tier and down through the vertical strands, creating layered refraction and sparkle across the fixture.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above, the Edison suits bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and hallways where a flush or semi-flush fitting is needed but a single flat disc would feel too plain. The 150mm drop from ceiling to base keeps the profile low enough to avoid head clearance issues in typical residential rooms, while the 390mm diameter provides enough visual presence to anchor a 3m x 3m to 4m x 4m room without overwhelming smaller spaces.

The polished chrome frame reflects light back through the crystal structure, doubling the sparkle effect when the bulbs are lit. Each crystal square and octagonal strand is hand-cut Asfour crystal, which has higher lead content and therefore higher refractive index than standard glass crystal, producing sharper prismatic flashes when light passes through. The total fixture weight of 3.5kg requires a standard ceiling mounting plate fixed to a joist or ceiling noggin — surface-mounted plasterboard fixings are not sufficient.

The Edison accepts seven G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each, giving flexibility to choose warm-white LED (2700K-3000K) for softer ambient light or cool-white (4000K-5000K) for brighter task lighting. The fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer (bulbs and dimmer sold separately). What ceiling height is needed?

The 150mm drop from ceiling to base suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings the base of the fixture sits at approximately 2.25m, which is above typical head height for circulation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Wipe each crystal piece gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or letting water pool in the lamp sockets. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on Asfour crystal.
