Eaton 4 Light E14 Pendant Light 32cm - Antique Brass

Clear glass and antique brass make up this four light pendant, 32cm across. The brass carries an aged, softly warmed tone rather than a bright polish, and the clear glass keeps the fitting light to look at. It takes E14 candle lamps, and we would reach for LED candles with a flame tip, a shape that suits the holders and looks well through clear glass. The drop can be set to suit the room, hanging low over a table or sitting higher in a hall.

Behind clear glass the lamps read as points of light and spread a soft, general glow rather than a directed beam, which suits a dining room, a wide landing or a main bedroom. It works well over a table at a height where the glass sits just above eye level. On a dimmer circuit it will dim, provided the lamps fitted are themselves dimmable. It belongs in dry rooms indoors, so keep it clear of bathrooms and covered porches where damp collects. We tend to suggest it where a single large shade would feel heavy and a cluster of smaller lamps sits better with the ceiling height.

The frame is metal finished in antique brass, with clear glass throughout. Switch off at the wall before cleaning; a dry cloth for the brass and a barely damp one for the glass, dried straight away, is all it asks. Avoid sprays and creams, which dull an antique finish faster than anything else. The same antique brass runs through the smaller and larger pendants in this range, the semi flush fittings and a table lamp, and polished chrome is offered across the range too, including a wall light. It carries a one year warranty. Lamps are not included.

What lamps should I fit?

Four E14 candle lamps, up to 20W each. LED candles in the C35 or flame tip shape look best, as the glass leaves them on show.

Can I dim it?

Yes, on a suitable dimmer, but you will need dimmable lamps. No dimmer is supplied with the pendant.

How far does it hang down?

The drop is adjustable from 710mm to 1660mm, with the body of the fitting itself measuring 600mm tall.

How wide is it?

320mm in diameter, which makes it a medium size pendant, comfortable over a small round table or in a hallway.

How do I clean the glass?

Turn the power off first, then wipe the glass with a lint free cloth, very slightly damp if there are marks, and dry it immediately.

Is there a matching wall light in antique brass?

The wall light in this range is offered in polished chrome. In antique brass you can pair the pendant with the semi flush fittings, the table lamp or the other pendant sizes.
