Description

The Eamon is an IP65 outdoor spike light with a white polycarbonate body, a single GU10 fitting accepting up to 5W LED, and a black powder-coated steel ground spike. The head tilts on a metal bracket, allowing light to be directed at planting, paths, walls or building facades from ground level. The fitting is pre-wired with 1m of outdoor-rated cable terminating in a weatherproof connector.

Designed for garden borders, pathway edges, planting beds and coastal installations where corrosion resistance matters, the Eamon pairs functional lighting with low-maintenance construction. The polycarbonate body resists UV degradation, salt spray and temperature cycling better than painted metal alternatives. The spike pushes into soil or turf without needing a fixed base, and the fitting can be repositioned seasonally as planting changes or events require.

The clear diffuser directs the GU10 beam forward rather than diffusing it into ambient wash, making the Eamon most effective as accent or directional lighting rather than general garden illumination. The 60mm diameter head and 163mm projection from spike to head keep the fitting compact enough to tuck into borders without dominating the visual field. Dimmability depends on the GU10 bulb chosen — pair with a dimmable LED GU10 and a compatible outdoor dimmer to vary output.

The Eamon range includes matching wall-mounted fittings in the same white, black, grey and stainless finishes, allowing a coordinated outdoor lighting scheme across spike, fixed and up-down wall lights. The Class II double-insulated construction removes the need for an earth connection during installation, simplifying wiring where outdoor circuits are being extended.

The Eamon takes a standard GU10 LED bulb up to 5W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W warm white LED GU10 at 2700K-3000K for garden accent lighting.

Is it suitable for coastal areas?

Yes. The polycarbonate construction resists corrosion from salt spray and UV degradation better than painted or anodised metal alternatives, making the Eamon appropriate for coastal garden installations.

Can the head be adjusted?

Yes. The head tilts on a metal bracket, allowing the GU10 beam to be angled towards planting, paths, walls or building facades. The spike can also be rotated in the ground to change horizontal aim.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmability depends on the GU10 bulb chosen. Pair the fitting with a dimmable LED GU10 and a compatible outdoor dimmer to control output. The fitting itself places no restriction on dimming.
