Description

The Eamon is a GU10 outdoor spike light built from black polycarbonate with an IP65 rating, designed for garden border lighting, pathway accents and architectural uplighting. The cylindrical head tilts on a twin-arm bracket, allowing the beam to be angled upward into foliage or downward onto gravel, while the ground spike fixes the fitting into soil, grass or soft ground.

Prewired with a 1m outdoor-rated cable, the Eamon connects to a garden lighting transformer or mains circuit run to an external junction box. The polycarbonate construction resists corrosion from salt spray, making it suitable for coastal installations where metal fittings degrade faster. The clear polycarbonate lens at the head allows the GU10 bulb beam to project cleanly without diffusion, delivering a focused spot or narrow flood depending on the bulb choice.

The fitting accepts GU10 LED bulbs up to 5W (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and beam angle to suit the application. A 3000K warm-white bulb suits residential garden borders and uplighting brickwork, while a 4000K neutral-white suits modern architectural facades. The compact 60mm diameter head and 163mm projection from the spike keep the fitting visually discreet during daylight, disappearing into borders once planting matures.

The Eamon range includes matching wall lights in four finishes (black, white, grey, brass), allowing the spike light to coordinate with facade lighting on the same building. The Class II double-insulated construction requires no earth connection, simplifying installation where earthing is difficult or unavailable in older garden circuits.

The fitting takes a GU10 bulb up to 5W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W GU10 LED in warm white (3000K) for garden border lighting or neutral white (4000K) for architectural uplighting.

Yes. The cylindrical head tilts on the twin-arm bracket, allowing the beam to be directed upward into foliage, onto walls, or downward onto pathways and gravel.
