Description

The Eamon is a compact GU10 spike light with an IP65 rating for outdoor use, finished in brushed brass painted polycarbonate. The cylindrical head houses a single GU10 lamp fitting (bulb sold separately, 5W LED maximum) behind a clear polycarbonate lens, mounted on a tilt-adjustable bracket fixed to a ground spike. The head tilts to direct light onto pathways, garden beds, wall features or low planting.

Designed for driveways, pathway edging, front gardens and courtyard accents, the Eamon is wired with 1 metre of outdoor-rated cable, allowing connection to a buried low-voltage or mains supply depending on installation method. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the fitting suitable for year-round outdoor use in UK weather. The polycarbonate body is corrosion-resistant and rated for coastal locations where salt spray accelerates metal degradation.

The brushed brass finish is a painted surface over the polycarbonate body rather than solid metal, giving the appearance of brass at a lower weight and price point. The 60mm head diameter and 163mm total projection from the spike keep the fitting visually compact when installed among low plants or at pathway edges. The spike is driven into soil or soft ground; harder surfaces may require pre-drilling. Dimming depends on the GU10 lamp chosen — most dimmable GU10 LEDs work with standard trailing-edge dimmers.

The Eamon range includes matching wall lights (fixed and up/down models) in four finishes, allowing consistent outdoor lighting across a property. Knightsbridge provides a 3-year warranty on the fitting.

The fitting accepts any standard GU10 lamp up to 5W. Most users fit a warm-white LED GU10 between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K. The bulb is sold separately.

Can it be used in coastal areas?

Yes. The polycarbonate construction is corrosion-resistant and rated for coastal installations where salt spray would degrade metal fittings over time.

Is it dimmable?
