Description
The Eamon is a compact outdoor wall light built from matt black polycarbonate with a single GU10 downlight fitting and IP54 weatherproofing. The cylindrical body sits 88mm proud of the wall on a circular backplate, directing light downwards through a clear polycarbonate lens. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED bulb up to 5W (sold separately).
Designed for porch lighting, side door entrances, garden wall accents and pathway illumination where a directional downlight is needed, the Eamon pairs a low-profile 60mm diameter with Class II double-insulated construction that requires no earth connection. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions including UK coastal installations where salt air accelerates metal corrosion.
The polycarbonate construction resists UV degradation, impact damage and coastal salt corrosion better than powder-coated metal equivalents. The matt black finish minimises reflections under daylight and integrates cleanly with modern, industrial and contemporary exterior schemes. The fitting is part of the Eamon range, which includes matching up/down wall lights and spike lights in black, white, anthracite and brushed steel finishes.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Eamon take?
The fitting takes a standard GU10 LED bulb up to 5W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose a warm-white GU10 LED between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for porch and pathway lighting.
Is it suitable for coastal locations?
Yes. The polycarbonate construction resists salt corrosion better than powder-coated metal fittings, making the Eamon suitable for coastal installations where salt air accelerates metal degradation. The IP54 rating protects against water splashes and windblown rain.
Can it be used on a dimmer switch?
Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb you fit. If you use a dimmable GU10 LED bulb and a compatible LED dimmer switch, the fitting will dim. Non-dimmable bulbs will not respond to dimmer controls.
What fixing method does it use?
The Eamon mounts to an exterior wall using screws through the circular backplate. The backplate covers a standard 60mm junction box. Class II double-insulated construction means no earth wire is required, simplifying installation.
