E40 Corn LED Bulb 43W IP65 High-Bay - Cool White

The E40 Corn LED Bulb is a high-output cluster lamp built for commercial and high-bay duty. It draws 42.8W of actual power yet pushes out 9000 lumens at an efficiency of 210 lm/W, making it a direct retrofit for an old 477W discharge or incandescent source. The cap is an E40 Goliath Edison Screw, the largest of the screw fittings and standard on industrial reflectors and high-bay housings. A 320 degree beam angle throws light almost all the way around the lamp, and the 4000K colour temperature gives a neutral cool white that keeps a workspace crisp and well defined.

Because the spread is so wide, this lamp suits open ceiling fittings where light needs to wash down and out rather than focus on one spot. Typical homes for it are warehouses, factory floors, workshops, loading bays, agricultural buildings and covered car parks, screwed into a high-bay reflector or a bare E40 batten holder. With 9000 lumens behind a near-spherical throw it covers a generous working zone from height, so fewer fittings are needed across a large floor. The cool 4000K tone holds colour accuracy well for sorting, inspection and general task work, and the wide angle reduces the harsh shadowing you get from a tighter beam.

Construction is a multi-row LED cluster on the familiar corn-cob body, measuring 52mm in diameter by 232mm long and weighing 228g. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains through the E40 screw cap, with no separate driver to specify. The IP65 rating makes it weatherproof and fit for exposed outdoor and wet locations as well as dusty interiors. This lamp is non-dimmable and gives a CRI of Ra 70, with a rated life of 50,000 hours. What fitting does this bulb need?

It uses an E40 Goliath Edison Screw cap, the oversized screw base found on industrial high-bay reflectors and large commercial holders. This is larger than the common E27 fitting, so check your housing takes E40 before ordering. It screws straight in with no adapter.
