Description

This E27 golf ball LED bulb is a small round (G45) lamp that fits any standard E27 Edison Screw (ES) holder. It draws just 4.9W while putting out 470 lumens, replacing an old 40W incandescent bulb at a fraction of the running cost. The light is a 4000K cool white with a wide 160 degree beam, so it spreads evenly rather than throwing a tight spot. In US terms the E27 is the standard medium screw base, and the G45 maps to the small G14 globe shape.

The compact golf ball form suits fittings where a full-size GLS bulb looks bulky: bedside and table lamps, small pendants, wall brackets and multi-arm fittings over a dining or living area. The crisp 4000K tone reads as a clean, neutral white that works well in kitchens, studies and hallways where a brighter, more functional light is wanted. With a 160 degree spread it lights a room broadly rather than aiming at one surface, and the Ra 80 colour rendering keeps everyday colours looking natural.

It has an E27 Edison Screw cap, also known as ES, which is the standard large screw fitting. Simply screw it into any E27 holder. It will not fit smaller E14 (SES) or bayonet holders.

What old bulb wattage does it replace?
