Description
This E27 LED bulb takes the classic A60 GLS form, the familiar rounded household shape that drops into most pendant, lamp and ceiling fittings with the standard Edison Screw cap. American buyers will recognise the A60 as the A19 they fit at home. It draws just 8W yet gives 1055 lumens, doing the work of an old 75W incandescent while using a fraction of the energy. The light is a 2700K warm white, the soft golden tone associated with traditional bulbs, and the 320° beam angle spreads light almost all the way around rather than throwing it in one direction.
Behind the clear glass sit visible LED filaments, giving the bulb a vintage look that suits open fittings where the lamp is on show, such as exposed pendants, table lamps and bare-shade ceiling roses. The wide 320° spread and broad warm output make it a good general-purpose bulb for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining areas, lighting a room evenly rather than as a focused beam. It is an indoor bulb only, rated IP20, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp location. With Ra 80 colour rendering it shows everyday colours naturally for living and circulation spaces.
The A60 body measures Ø60 by 105 mm and weighs 34 g, so it fits the same space as a standard incandescent. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains through its E27 cap and reaches an efficiency of 132 lm/W, with a rated life of 15,000 hours. This is a non-dimmable bulb, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer circuit. The finish is white with clear filament glass. The E27 filament range also includes other wattages and shapes to match across a room.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E27 Edison Screw cap, also called ES, which is the larger of the two common screw fittings. It suits any standard E27 lampholder found on most pendants, table lamps and ceiling fittings. In the US this is the same as a medium screw base.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
It draws only 8W but gives 1055 lumens, which matches the output of an old 75W incandescent bulb. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the running cost. The bulb itself never uses more than 8W.
Is it warm or cool light?
It produces a 2700K warm white, the soft golden tone of a traditional filament bulb. This suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas where a relaxed atmosphere is wanted. With Ra 80 colour rendering it shows colours naturally.
Can this bulb be dimmed?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb and should be used on a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or buzzing and may shorten its life. It is rated for 15,000 hours of indoor use.
