Description

This E27 LED bulb is a classic A60 GLS shape, the rounded household form, fitted with an Edison Screw (ES) cap. It draws just 8W while giving 1055 lumens, so it stands in for a 75W old-style bulb without the power cost. The light is a 2700K warm white, the soft amber tone most people associate with living-room and bedroom lighting, and the 320° beam angle spreads it almost the whole way around the bulb. Visible LED filaments sit inside clear glass for a vintage look that suits open shades and exposed fittings.

Being a wide-spread A60 bulb, it works well as general light through a hallway pendant, a bedside lamp, a living-room ceiling fitting or a table lamp where the bulb is on show. The near-omnidirectional 320° output throws light up, out and down rather than in a single direction, so it fills a shade evenly. The warm 2700K tone keeps rooms relaxed in the evening, while the Ra 80 colour rendering shows skin tones and furnishings naturally. This is an indoor bulb only, with no rating for outdoor, bathroom or damp positions.

The bulb runs on 220 to 240V AC mains directly from the E27 holder, with no transformer needed. It measures Ø60 by 105 mm and weighs 34 g, matching standard ES fittings and most lamp shades. It has an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, the larger screw-in fitting used on most pendants, table lamps and ceiling fittings. Simply screw it into a standard E27 holder. The A60 shape and Ø60 by 105 mm size fit most common shades.

What old bulb wattage does it replace?

At 8W actual draw it produces 1055 lumens, which is equivalent to a 75W traditional incandescent bulb. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the energy. The bulb itself only uses 8W.
