Description
This E27 GLS LED bulb pairs a classic rounded A60 household shape with visible LED filaments behind clear glass for a vintage look. It draws just 8.5W yet gives 1055 lumens of 2700K warm white light, replacing an old 75W incandescent of the same shape. The Edison Screw (ES) cap fits the standard large screw socket found across most British fittings, and American buyers will know the A60 form as the everyday A19 household bulb. A wide 320 degree beam spreads light almost all the way around the bulb.
The warm 2700K tone and Ra 80 colour rendering suit living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining areas where a soft, relaxed glow is wanted rather than a bright task light. Because the filaments are on show through the clear glass, it works well in open or exposed fittings such as pendants, wall brackets and bare-bulb lamp holders where the bulb itself is part of the look. The near all-round 320 degree spread means it lights a room evenly rather than throwing a narrow directional beam, so it sits comfortably as general background light.
The bulb measures 60mm across and 108mm long, weighs 34g and runs on 220 to 240V AC mains. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor spot. This is a non-dimmable bulb, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. Rated for 15,000 hours at 124 lm/W, it is an efficient swap for an older filament bulb. Our wider range covers matching E27 and E14 filament shapes in the same warm white tone.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, the larger of the two common screw fittings, so it suits any standard E27 socket. American customers will recognise it as the everyday A19 household shape with an E26 medium screw equivalent.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED itself draws only 8.5W but gives 1055 lumens, matching the output of a 75W incandescent bulb. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the running cost.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb. Fit it to a standard on/off switch, as using it on a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or shorten its life.
Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it should be kept clear of bathrooms, porches, gardens and any damp or exposed location. Use it in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways instead.
