This E27 GLS LED bulb takes the classic A60 household shape, the familiar rounded form most people picture when they think of a light bulb. Across the Atlantic that same outline is sold as the A19, so the fit and look carry straight over. It screws into a standard E27 Edison Screw (ES) holder and draws just 7 W while putting out 810 lumens, the kind of output a 60 W old incandescent bulb gave. The light is a warm 2700K, the soft, slightly amber tone that suits living spaces, and a wide 320° beam angle spreads it almost all the way round rather than firing it in one direction.

Because it gives a near-omnidirectional warm glow rather than a focused or task beam, it works as general background light in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining areas, in pendants, open shades and exposed-fitting lamps where the bulb is on show. With its visible filaments and clear glass it earns its place in fittings designed to display the lamp, such as cage pendants and bare-holder wall and table lamps. It is an IP20 bulb for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp position. The CRI of Ra 80 renders everyday colours naturally for relaxed rooms.

The bulb uses visible LED filaments inside clear, transparent glass for a vintage look, paired with modern efficiency of 116 lm/W and a rated 15,000-hour life. It runs on 220-240 V AC mains direct from the E27 holder, with no transformer needed. The body measures Ø60 x 105 mm and weighs 34 g, so it sits comfortably in standard pendants and shades. Which fitting does this bulb need?

It has an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, the larger screw fitting found on most pendants, table lamps and standard household holders. It simply screws into any E27 socket. There is no adaptor required for a standard ES fitting.

What old bulb wattage does it replace?

The LED itself draws only 7 W but produces 810 lumens, which is the brightness you would have got from a 60 W old incandescent bulb. So it gives the same familiar light level for a fraction of the energy. The equivalent figure refers to brightness, not the bulb's actual 7 W consumption.

Is this a dimmable bulb?

No, this is a non-dimmable bulb and should be used on a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or buzzing and may shorten its life. If you need dimming, choose a bulb marked as dimmable instead.

What does the warm white colour and filament look like?

The 2700K warm white tone is a soft, slightly amber light that suits relaxed living and bedroom spaces. The clear glass shows off visible LED filaments for a vintage appearance, so it looks good in fittings where the bulb is on display. It is best used indoors only, as the bulb is rated IP20.
