Description
This E27 GLS LED bulb takes the classic A60 household shape, the rounded form most people picture when they think of a standard light bulb. It fits the E27 Edison Screw cap (ES), the larger of the two common screw fittings, and in US terms this is the familiar A19-style screw bulb. The LED itself draws just 7W while putting out 810 lumens, so it replaces an old 60W incandescent on light output alone. The tone is 4000K cool white, a clean, neutral light, and the wide 320° beam angle spreads it almost all the way around the bulb rather than firing it in one direction.
Because the light spreads through a full 320°, this bulb suits open fittings where the lamp is on show or where you want even, all-round illumination: pendants, table and floor lamps, open-shade fittings and exposed-bulb pieces in living rooms, kitchens, hallways and home offices. The cool white 4000K tone reads as a crisp working light, which makes it a good choice over a kitchen worktop, a desk or a reading corner rather than a soft bedside glow. It is a single-bulb replacement, so use as many as the fitting holds, and the wide spread keeps the light looking balanced in a multi-lamp fitting. For indoor use only, this is not rated for damp, bathroom or outdoor positions.
The visible LED filaments sit inside clear transparent glass for a vintage exposed-filament look, so the bulb works as a decorative piece as well as a light source. It is dimmable, letting you take the output down on a compatible dimmer for softer evening levels. Colour rendering is Ra 80, the cap is E27, and rated life is 15,000 hours at an efficiency of up to 116 lm/W. The bulb measures Ø60 by 104mm and weighs 34g. We stock matching E27 filament shapes across the range if you want a consistent look through a room.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting do I need for this bulb?
It uses the E27 Edison Screw cap, also called ES, which is the larger of the two common screw fittings in the UK. Check that your lamp or fitting takes an E27 screw before ordering. The A60 shape is the standard rounded household form, so it suits most open and shaded fittings.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED itself draws just 7W, but it gives out 810 lumens, which matches the light you would expect from an old 60W incandescent bulb. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the energy. The cool white 4000K tone is brighter and crisper than a traditional warm bulb.
Is this bulb dimmable?
Yes, it is dimmable and can be paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch to lower the output for softer evening light. Use a dimmer rated for LED loads for smooth, flicker-free control. The visible filaments look particularly good when dimmed down.
How long does it last and how much will it save?
It is rated for 15,000 hours of use, so in a typical fitting it should run for many years before needing replacing. At up to 116 lumens per watt it is far more efficient than the 60W bulb it replaces. Lower wattage and a long life mean fewer changes and lower running costs.
