This E27 GLS LED bulb takes the classic A60 household shape and fits any standard Edison Screw (ES) lampholder. It draws just 7W while putting out 806 lumens, so it stands in for an old 60W incandescent bulb without the running cost. Visible LED filaments behind clear glass give it the vintage look that buyers in the US tend to know as an A19 filament bulb, and the 320 degree beam spreads light almost all the way around. The 2700K warm white tone keeps the glow soft and amber, well suited to exposed fittings where the bulb itself is on show.

Because the spread is so wide, a single bulb lights an open shade or pendant evenly rather than throwing a directional beam, which makes it a sensible choice for living rooms, dining areas, hallways and bedside lamps. Which fitting does this bulb need?

It has an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, which is the larger screw fitting found on most pendants, table lamps and standard lampholders. Simply screw it in clockwise until snug. Check your fixture takes E27 rather than the smaller E14 (SES) before ordering.

What old bulb wattage does it replace?

The LED itself draws only 7W but produces 806 lumens, which is roughly the output of an old 60W incandescent bulb. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the energy use. The 7W figure is the actual power drawn from the mains.
