Description
This E27 GLS LED bulb takes the classic A60 household shape, the rounded form most light bulbs in the UK use, with a transparent glass envelope showing the LED filaments inside for a vintage look. It fits the E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, what US buyers call a standard screw base, and draws just 4W while replacing a 62W old bulb. Output is 840 lumens at 4000K cool white, with a wide 320° beam angle that spreads light around the bulb much like a traditional filament lamp rather than throwing it in one direction.
Its all-round 320° spread suits open shades, bare-bulb pendants and lanterns where the bulb is visible and light needs to reach the whole space evenly. The crisp 4000K cool white tone works well in kitchens, home offices and utility areas where a brighter, neutral light helps with tasks, and the clear filament styling keeps the fitting looking decorative when lit. As an indoor IP20 bulb it is for dry interior use only, so keep it out of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp location.
The bulb runs on 220 to 240V AC mains with an efficiency of 210 lm/W and a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours, so it should last for years of regular use. Colour rendering is Ra 80, giving accurate enough colour for everyday rooms, and it measures Ø60 by 108 mm at a light 36g. Note that this filament bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. The clear transparent finish keeps the filament detail on show.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E27 cap, also known as Edison Screw or ES, which is the larger of the two common screw fittings in the UK. It screws into any standard E27 holder found in many pendants, lamps and lanterns.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
It draws only 4W but produces 840 lumens, enough to replace a 62W old incandescent bulb. You get a similar level of brightness for a fraction of the energy use.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb, so it should be used with a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flicker or shorten its life.
Is the light warm or cool?
It gives a cool white light at 4000K, a brighter and more neutral tone than warm white. This suits kitchens, home offices and task areas where clear, crisp light is helpful.
