This is a classic A60 GLS bulb, the rounded household shape that fits most pendants, table lamps and ceiling fittings. It uses the E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, known in US terms as the standard medium screw base, so it twists straight into the common large screw fitting. Inside the opal glass sit visible LED filaments that give a soft vintage look while diffusing the light evenly. It draws just 4.5W yet replaces a 40W old incandescent bulb, putting out 470 lumens of 4000K cool white through a wide 320 degree spread.

The cool white tone reads crisp and clean rather than yellow, which suits kitchens, home offices, utility rooms and hallways where you want clear, neutral light. The wide 320 degree beam means it lights a room from most angles, so it works well in open shades, bare-bulb pendants and lamps where the bulb is on show. As an indoor IP20 bulb it is for dry interior use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp spot. Its 470 lumen output gives gentle general light, ideal for accent and decorative fittings rather than bright task work.

The clear opal glass envelope shows off the filament strands and stays a neat 60mm wide by 105mm long, so it sits comfortably in compact shades.
