Description
This E27 GLS LED bulb pairs the classic rounded A70 household shape with visible LED filaments behind clear glass, giving the vintage look of an old incandescent lamp while drawing only 18 W. It fits the E27 Edison Screw cap, known in the US as a standard medium screw base, and pushes out 2450 lumens of 2700K warm white light across a wide 320 degree beam. That broad spread means the light scatters in almost every direction rather than focusing into a single point.
Because the warm tone and wide 320 degree output throw light right around the bulb, it suits open fittings where the lamp is on show, such as pendants, semi-flush ceiling fittings, table lamps and wall brackets in living rooms, hallways and dining areas. The 2450 lumen output is generous for a single bulb, so it works well as the main light in a small to medium room or as a brighter feature lamp in a clear shade. At 2700K the light stays soft and warm rather than clinical, which keeps relaxed spaces comfortable in the evening. This is an indoor bulb only, rated IP20, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp location.
Built on an A70 glass envelope measuring 70 mm across and 126 mm long, the bulb weighs just 44 g and runs on 220 to 240 V AC mains through the E27 cap, with no separate driver needed. It is rated at 136 lm/W for efficiency, carries a CRI of Ra 80 for natural enough colour, and is rated for around 15,000 hours of use. The bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on or off switch rather than a dimmer. The clear transparent finish shows off the filaments as a decorative detail.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E27 Edison Screw cap, also called ES, which is the larger screw base. Simply screw it into any standard E27 holder. The bulb has an A70 glass shape measuring 70 mm in diameter and 126 mm long.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED itself draws only 18 W but produces 2450 lumens, enough to replace a 149 W traditional bulb. You get the same bright output for a fraction of the power, which lowers running costs over its rated 15,000 hour life.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, it is non-dimmable, so use it with a standard on or off switch rather than a dimmer. Fitting a non-dimmable bulb to a dimmer can cause flicker or buzzing and may shorten its life.
Is the light warm or cool?
It gives a 2700K warm white light, the soft amber tone of a traditional bulb, which suits relaxed living and dining spaces. The visible filaments behind clear glass add a vintage look, and the CRI of Ra 80 keeps colours looking natural.
