Description
This E27 GLS LED bulb takes the classic rounded A60 household shape, fitting the Edison Screw cap that buyers across the UK simply call the E27 ES. American shoppers will know the screw fitting as the standard medium base, with the A60 form being the everyday A19-style bulb. It draws 10.5 watts and gives out 1060 lumens of 2700K warm white light, so it stands in for a 75 watt old incandescent while using a fraction of the power. A wide 220 degree beam angle spreads the light evenly rather than throwing it in one direction.
Because it scatters light over a broad 220 degree spread, this bulb suits open pendants, table and floor lamps, and standard ceiling fittings where you want a soft, all-round glow rather than a focused spot. The warm 2700K tone keeps living rooms, bedrooms and hallways feeling relaxed, and the 1060 lumen output gives a useful amount of light for general use in a fitting or two. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it to interior rooms and away from bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor spot. Being dimmable, it also pairs well with a compatible dimmer in spaces where you want to drop the brightness in the evening.
The bulb measures 60 mm across and 110 mm long, weighs 42 grams and runs on 220 to 240V AC mains through the E27 cap, so no transformer or driver is needed. It carries an Ra 80 colour rendering figure and an efficiency of 101 lm/W, with a rated lifespan of 25,000 hours. The finish is a plain white body with the everyday GLS profile. This bulb is dimmable, so check that your existing dimmer switch is rated for LED loads. We stock matching E27 and E14 LED bulbs in the same warm white tone across the range.

Frequently Asked
What fitting do I need for this bulb?
It uses an E27 Edison Screw cap, often written as E27 ES, which is the larger of the two common screw fittings. It twists into any standard E27 lampholder found on most pendants, table lamps and ceiling fittings.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
At 10.5 watts it puts out 1060 lumens, which is enough to replace a 75 watt old incandescent bulb. The LED itself only draws 10.5 watts, so you get similar brightness for far less energy.
Is this bulb dimmable?
Yes, this bulb is dimmable. For smooth, flicker-free dimming, use a dimmer switch rated for LED loads, as older dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs may not perform as well.
Is the light warm or cool in tone?
It produces a 2700K warm white light, which is a soft, cosy tone close to a traditional incandescent bulb. The Ra 80 colour rendering keeps colours looking natural, making it well suited to living rooms and bedrooms.
