Description
This large globe LED bulb takes the classic G95 form, a 95mm rounded sphere with clear glass that puts its vintage LED filaments on full view. It fits a standard E27 Edison Screw (ES) holder, the same screw cap many shoppers know as the medium base. Drawing just 7.8W, it gives out 1055 lumens at 4000K cool white, a clean, crisp tone with a wide 320 degree spread that lights a room evenly rather than in one direction.
The exposed filament look suits open fittings where the bulb is meant to be seen, such as pendant drops over a kitchen island or dining table, cluster fittings in a hallway, and bare-flex fixtures in a living room. With cool white output and a 75W incandescent equivalent, it carries enough brightness for a busy kitchen or workspace while keeping running cost low. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp location. The near full-sphere 320 degree beam means it works well in shades that show the lower half of the bulb.
Built around visible LED filaments inside transparent glass, the G95 measures 95mm across by 140mm tall and weighs only 58g. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains direct from the E27 cap, with an efficiency of 135 lm/W and a rated life of 25,000 hours. Colour rendering is Ra 80 and the colour temperature is fixed at 4000K. This bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer circuit. Our range also includes matching E27 filament shapes for fittings that share a holder.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It uses an E27 cap, also called Edison Screw or ES, which is the larger screw-in base. Simply twist it into any standard E27 holder. It is the same medium screw base common across pendants and table fittings.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED itself draws only 7.8W but gives 1055 lumens, which is equivalent to a 75W traditional incandescent globe. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the energy. Over 25,000 rated hours that adds up to a clear running saving.
Is this a warm or cool light?
It is 4000K cool white, a clean and crisp tone that sits between warm white and daylight. This suits kitchens, hallways and work areas where a brighter, neutral light is wanted rather than a soft yellow glow.
Can I use it with a dimmer switch?
No, this bulb is non-dimmable and should be used on a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flicker or buzzing and can shorten its life, so a plain switch is best.
