E27 (ES) LED Candle Bulb 3.7W 330lm Dimmable - Warm White 2200K

This is a candle bulb with an E27 screw cap, the larger of the two common screw fittings and the one you tend to find on bigger pendants and lanterns rather than on a chandelier. It draws 3.7W and gives 330 lumens, and the light comes from LED filaments running the length of the amber-tinted glass rather than from a diode hidden behind a diffuser. The colour temperature is 2200K, warmer than the usual 2700K warm white and close to the glow of an old carbon filament: light that reads clearly golden rather than white.

Because the filaments are the point of a lamp like this, put it somewhere it can be seen: an open shade, a glass lantern, a bare flex pendant, or a wall light that holds the lamp face out. At 330 lumens the output is decorative rather than working, so it suits a hallway, a snug, a dining pendant over a table, or a pair of side lights where you want warmth instead of brightness. In a three or five lamp fitting the modest output matters far less, because the lamps add up. The IP20 rating puts it in dry indoor positions only.

Can I dim it, and what dimmer should I use?

Yes, this one is dimmable. A trailing edge LED dimmer gives the smoothest result. Older leading edge mains dimmers can buzz or flicker at this wattage, especially with only one lamp on the circuit.

How much light does 330 lumens actually give?

Enough to fill a decorative pendant or lantern with a soft golden glow, and enough to light a hallway gently. It is not a reading light on its own, so use several lamps or pair it with task lighting.

What old bulb does this replace?

How is 2200K different from ordinary warm white?

2200K is noticeably more amber, close to candlelight or an old carbon filament. Standard warm white is 2700K and looks whiter beside it, so keep lamps in the same room matched.
