Description
This E14 LED bulb takes the small round golf ball (G45) shape, fitting the Small Edison Screw cap that many American buyers know as a candelabra base. It draws just 4.5 W while putting out 470 lumens, standing in for a 40 W old bulb on the energy the LED itself uses, not the figure it replaces. The light is 4000K cool white, a crisp, clean tone that suits fittings where you want a brighter, more neutral output rather than a yellow glow. A wide 320 degree beam spreads light around the bulb rather than throwing it in one direction, so it lights a fitting evenly.
Being a compact golf ball shape at Ø45 by 80 mm, it slots into pendants, wall fittings, bedside lamps and chandeliers where a full-size bulb would look bulky. The cool white tone reads well in kitchens, home offices and reading spots where neutral light helps with task work, and the visible-filament look means it sits comfortably in open or clear-glass shades on show. With an Ra 80 colour rendering figure, colours and surfaces hold a true, natural appearance. This is a dry indoor bulb only, rated IP20, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor positions.
The bulb uses genuine LED filaments set inside clear transparent glass, giving the warm vintage wire look of an old incandescent while running on modern LED efficiency at 104 lm/W. It runs on 220 to 240 V AC mains direct from the E14 holder, with a rated life of 15,000 hours, and it is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. At only 14 g it is light in the fitting. The range also covers other caps and shapes in matching filament styling.

Frequently Asked
What fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E14 cap, also called Small Edison Screw or SES, which is the smaller screw-in base. In the US this size is known as a candelabra fitting. Make sure your lamp or fitting takes E14 rather than the larger E27 before ordering.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED draws only 4.5 W but gives 470 lumens, roughly the brightness of a 40 W incandescent golf ball bulb. The 40 W figure is the equivalent it replaces, not the power the LED uses, so it cuts running costs sharply for the same light level.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb. It should be used with a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or buzzing and may shorten its life, so avoid dimmed circuits.
What does cool white look like and where does it suit?
At 4000K it gives a crisp, neutral cool white rather than a yellow warm glow. It works well in kitchens, home offices and reading areas where cleaner light aids tasks, and with Ra 80 colour rendering it shows colours naturally.
