Description
This E14 LED bulb takes the small round golf ball shape, the G45 form that suits compact fittings and decorative pendants. It draws just 3.4W while putting out 470 lumens, so it stands in for an old 40W incandescent at a fraction of the running power. The light is a warm white 2700K with a wide 150 degree beam angle, giving a soft, even spread rather than a focused spot. The cap is E14, known as the Small Edison Screw or SES, which in the United States sits closest to the candelabra base, so check your fitting takes a screw-in E14 rather than a bayonet.
Being a golf ball bulb, it works well in chandeliers, wall fittings, table and floor lamps, and smaller pendant shades where a full-size GLS bulb would look bulky. The warm 2700K tone is a comfortable choice for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where a relaxed glow matters more than bright task light, and the high CRI of Ra 90 keeps colours looking natural under it. Because this is a directional decorative bulb rather than a room-lighting fitting, think of it as filling a shade or cluster with warm light rather than covering a set floor area, and use several across a multi-lamp fitting for the brightness you need.
The bulb measures 45mm across and 82mm long, weighing only 18g, with a plain white opal finish that hides the diodes for a clean look when lit. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains through the E14 cap, with a rated life of 25,000 hours and an efficiency of 138 lm/W. This version is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer circuit. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. Our wider range includes matching E14 and E27 shapes if you want a consistent warm white tone across several fittings.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E14 cap, also called the Small Edison Screw or SES, which screws into the holder with a clockwise twist. This is the smaller screw fitting common on chandeliers, wall lights and smaller lamps. It is not a bayonet bulb, so make sure your fitting takes a screw-in E14.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
It replaces a 40W traditional incandescent golf ball bulb while drawing only 3.4W itself. The 470 lumen output gives a comparable level of warm light, so you get the same brightness for a small fraction of the energy.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb, so it should be used with a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or buzzing and may shorten its life. If you need dimming, choose a bulb listed as dimmable instead.
What colour is the light?
It gives a warm white light at 2700K, a soft yellow-toned glow that suits relaxed living spaces and bedrooms. The colour rendering of Ra 90 means colours and skin tones look natural rather than washed out.
