Description

This E14 capsule LED bulb is a compact bi-pin-style replacement on the small Edison screw (SES) cap, giving 520 lumens from a draw of just 4 W. The light source measures only Ø16 by 54 mm, so it slots into the tight envelope of small fittings where a full-size bulb will not fit. The colour is a 3000K warm white with a Ra 80 colour rendering, and the wide 320 degree beam angle spreads light almost all the way around the bulb rather than throwing it in one direction. At 4 W it replaces a 42 W old-style bulb of the same brightness, so the running cost drops sharply while the light output stays the same.

Because the spread is near-omnidirectional, this bulb suits small enclosed fittings, wall and ceiling fixtures, decorative lamps and any holder that takes an E14 cap and needs even, all-round light rather than a focused spot.
