Description
This E14 LED bulb takes the classic candle shape, with a slim C35 flame-style body that suits chandeliers, wall brackets and pendant fittings. It draws just 6.5 W while putting out 806 lumens, so it stands in for an old 60 W incandescent without the running cost. The cap is E14 Small Edison Screw (SES), the small twist-in screw fitting US buyers will know as the candelabra base. Light comes out at 4000K cool white, a clean, neutral tone, spread across a wide 200 degree beam angle that lights a room evenly rather than throwing a tight spot.
The wide 200 degree spread and crisp 4000K output make this candle bulb a good fit for living rooms, dining areas, hallways and bedrooms where several lamps share the load across a fitting. In a multi-arm chandelier or a pair of wall lights the bulbs blend into broad, even illumination rather than pooling in one place, so coverage is decided by how many you run and the fitting itself. With a colour rendering of Ra 80, colours and finishes read true under it. This is a dry indoor bulb only, rated IP20, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any exposed outdoor position.
The bulb measures just 35 mm across and 126 mm long and weighs only 22 g, so it sits neatly in compact shades and narrow candelabra fittings. It runs on 220 to 240 V AC mains straight from the E14 holder with no separate driver, reaches an efficiency of 124 lm/W and is rated for 20,000 hours of use. Note that this bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. The body is finished in white.

Frequently Asked
What fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E14 cap, known as Small Edison Screw or SES, the small screw-in base used on many candle and chandelier fittings. In the US this is the candelabra base. It twists straight into any matching E14 holder.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED draws only 6.5 W itself but gives 806 lumens, enough to replace an old 60 W incandescent candle bulb. You get the same brightness for a fraction of the energy use.
Is this a warm or cool light?
It produces 4000K cool white, a clean neutral tone that sits between cosy warm white and bright daylight. With a colour rendering of Ra 80, colours and surfaces look natural under it.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb, so it should be used with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or shorten its life.
