Description
This IDO LED bulb takes the C35 candle, or flame, shape and fits an E14 Small Edison Screw (SES) cap. It draws just 6.5 W while giving out 806 lumens, enough to stand in for an old 60 W incandescent candle bulb at a fraction of the running power. The light is a 3000K warm white, the soft tone most people want from a candle lamp, and a wide 200 degree beam angle spreads it broadly rather than in a tight cone. In US terms this is the candelabra shape, though the cap here is the European E14 rather than the smaller E12.
Its candle profile suits chandeliers, multi-arm pendants, wall brackets and bedside or table lamps where the bulb shape is on show. The warm 3000K tone works well in living rooms, dining areas, hallways and bedrooms, and the 200 degree spread helps fill a fitting with several lamps more evenly than a narrow-beam bulb. Light output is best judged by the 806 lumen figure rather than coverage area, since a decorative bulb like this lifts and shapes a room rather than acting as a single ambient source. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp location.
The bulb measures 35 mm across and 126 mm long, with a slim glass candle envelope on a white finished base, and weighs only 22 g. Running at 220 to 240 V AC, it reaches an efficiency of 124 lm/W and a rated life of 20,000 hours, so replacements come round far less often than with the bulb it replaces. Colour rendering is Ra 80 for natural everyday colour, and this version is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on or off switch rather than a dimmer circuit.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E14 cap, also called Small Edison Screw or SES, which is the smaller screw fitting common on candle bulbs and many chandeliers. Check that your lamp or fitting takes E14 rather than the larger E27 before ordering.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The bulb draws only 6.5 W but gives out 806 lumens, which is comparable to a traditional 60 W incandescent candle bulb. You get the same brightness for a small fraction of the energy use.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this version is non-dimmable. Use it on a standard on or off switch and avoid a dimmer circuit, as dimming may cause flicker or shorten the life of the bulb.
Is the light warm or cool?
It produces a 3000K warm white, the soft, cosy tone associated with candle and chandelier bulbs. With Ra 80 colour rendering it shows everyday colours naturally in living and dining spaces.
