Description

The Duracell Plus Power D LR20 is a 2-pack of alkaline D-cell batteries, each rated at 1.5V nominal voltage. D-cells are physically the largest cylindrical consumer battery format, measuring 61.5mm tall by 34.2mm diameter, and are designed to deliver sustained current over extended runtimes in devices with moderate to high drain rates.

These batteries suit torches, portable radios, camping lanterns, medical equipment, large toys, battery-powered tools and emergency backup devices where AA or AAA cells would deplete too quickly. The alkaline chemistry provides a good balance of energy density, shelf life and cost for non-rechargeable applications.
