Description

The Dungarvan is a 300mm tall outdoor wall light with two E27 bulb fittings arranged to cast light both upwards and downwards from a central black polymer housing. The housing is formed from white polymer with embedded black colour technology, making it corrosion-proof and impact-resistant in coastal and high-exposure environments. The IP44 rating protects the internal fittings from moisture ingress and dust.

Designed for exterior installation on porches, garden walls, patio areas and building facades, the Dungarvan provides accent lighting on vertical surfaces while illuminating the ground and wall plane around the fitting. The up/down configuration gives defined pools of light above and below the unit without glare at eye level. Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), allowing choice of LED, halogen or filament sources depending on the desired colour temperature and output.

The polymer construction weighs less than metal alternatives and requires no painting or maintenance beyond occasional wiping to remove coastal salt or dirt buildup. The embedded colour technology means the black finish resists UV fade over years of sun exposure. The 150mm projection from the wall gives enough stand-off for the light to spread across textured surfaces without the housing touching the wall plane. Class II electrical safety removes the need for an earth connection during installation.
