Description

The Duceri D120LBR is a 3W LED emergency exit sign housed in a brass-finish surface-mount box, displaying a left-pointing running man legend on a green illuminated panel. The unit operates in maintained mode, meaning the sign remains lit continuously on mains power and switches to lithium battery backup during power failure. The 3W LED provides uniform illumination across the 402mm-wide sign face, visible from typical corridor and stairwell distances.

Designed for commercial, hospitality and residential fire safety compliance, the sign mounts directly to walls or ceilings above doorways and along escape routes. The surface-mount box conceals the battery pack and wiring terminals behind the legend panel, requiring no recessing into the wall structure. The left-pointing arrow directs occupants towards the nearest fire exit on the left side of the corridor or room.

The brass finish on the powder-coated steel enclosure suits traditional, classical and heritage interiors where chrome or white boxes would clash with warm-toned décor. Maintained operation means the exit sign remains illuminated continuously when connected to mains power. During a power cut, the internal lithium battery takes over automatically to keep the sign lit for the duration of the emergency period, typically 3 hours on a full charge.

How is the sign installed?

The surface-mount box fixes directly to the wall or ceiling using screws through mounting holes in the back panel. Mains wiring connects to terminals inside the enclosure. No recessing or cutting into the wall structure is needed.

Does it require regular testing?

Yes. UK fire safety regulations require monthly functional tests and annual duration tests of emergency lighting. The unit should be switched to battery mode once per month to confirm the sign illuminates, and tested for the full 3-hour duration once per year.
