The Drisvena is a slim table lamp: a tall cylinder of smoked glass standing on a round black steel base. It is 31cm tall and 10cm across, so it takes very little room on a shelf, a sideboard or a bedside table. The shade is vaporised glass in a black, see-through tint, so the bulb and its black holder stay in view through the smoke. It takes a single E27 bulb up to a maximum of 60W, and the bulb is not included. With an IP20 rating, it belongs indoors in dry rooms.

Because the glass shows the bulb, it is worth choosing a decorative filament bulb, which looks good whether the lamp is lit or not. The narrow footprint suits a media unit, a bookshelf, a hall console or a bedside table where a wide shade would crowd the space.
