Description

The Dravanne is a set of three round LED downlights, each with a brushed satin nickel bezel around an aluminium body. Each downlight is 8.8cm across, needs a cut-out of 6.8cm and has a recess depth of 4.6cm, which is the space it takes above the ceiling line. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and each light draws 5W and gives 500lm. The IP65 rating settles where they can go: each one is sealed against dust and protected from jets of water, so a bathroom ceiling suits them as well as a dry hallway.

In a hallway or along a landing, a run of three gives pools of light down the wall without anything hanging into the room, which keeps narrow spaces feeling open. For a bathroom, the IP65 rating makes them a sound choice, and a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone.
