Domo 4 Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Chrome with White Shade

The Domo is a 55cm semi-flush ceiling light built around a white drum shade that houses a cascade of chrome metallic chain links suspended from a polished chrome canopy. The chains hang inside the shade like an internal chandelier element, visible through the white fabric diffuser when the light is on, creating layered texture without the bulk of a traditional chandelier. Four E14 bulbs (included) sit above the chains, casting light through both the metallic elements and the fabric shade. A lower methacrylate diffuser panel softens the downlight and prevents glare.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Domo provides ambient light with a 50cm drop from the ceiling. The semi-flush mounting keeps the fitting closer to the ceiling than a pendant would, making it suitable for rooms where a full chandelier would hang too low but a basic flush light would lack presence. The white drum shade gives a clean silhouette from the side while the chrome chains add visual interest when viewed from below or at an angle.

The fitting weighs 4.5kg and uses gravity toggles (included) for secure ceiling mounting on plasterboard or solid ceilings. The polished chrome canopy and chain elements contrast with the soft white fabric shade, pairing well with contemporary, transitional and neutral interiors. The four E14 bulbs provide a combined 80W output at 220-240V. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

Are the E14 bulbs included?

Yes. The Domo comes with four E14 LED bulbs ready to install, so no separate bulb purchase is needed. The bulbs are standard E14 small Edison screw fitting and can be replaced with alternative E14 bulbs up to 20W each if preferred.

What's the difference between semi-flush and flush ceiling lights?

A flush ceiling light sits directly against the ceiling with minimal or no projection. A semi-flush drops a short distance (in this case 50cm) from the ceiling, giving more presence and allowing decorative elements like the Domo's internal chain detail to be visible from below. Semi-flush fittings suit rooms where a pendant would hang too low but a flat flush fitting would lack impact.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Domo is rated for dry indoor locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, shower rooms or any area exposed to moisture or steam.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 50cm drop from ceiling to base of the fitting works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the fitting may feel visually heavy or intrude into headroom, particularly in circulation areas.
