Description

The Diama is a 4 light flush ceiling light built on a diamond-cut square backplate in satin nickel and polished chrome, with four adjustable arms carrying opal white glass shades. Each arm pivots at the backplate, allowing the light direction to be adjusted during installation to balance coverage across the room. The opal glass diffuses the G9 bulb inside each shade, casting soft ambient light without visible glare or hotspots.

Designed for rooms with lower ceilings where a pendant would hang too low, the Diama suits hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining areas with ceiling heights between 2.3-2.7m. The 215mm projection from the ceiling keeps the fitting clear of door frames and circulation zones, while the 430mm length and 300mm width provide enough spread to light a 3-4m space when all four arms are angled outward. The fixture arrives with G9 bulbs fitted and is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch.

The backplate combines satin nickel with polished chrome banding around the diamond-cut edge, giving the metalwork a layered finish that shifts tone depending on the light in the room. The satin nickel sits as the primary surface, absorbing reflections, while the polished chrome catches ambient light and pairs cleanly with chrome taps, cabinet handles and other existing finishes. The opal glass shades are held in place by threaded nickel collars that can be hand-tightened without tools.

Yes. The Diama is supplied with four G9 bulbs already fitted. The bulbs are dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer switch.

Can the arms be adjusted after installation?

The arms are adjustable during installation to angle the light where needed. Once the glass shades are hand-tightened onto the threaded collars, the arms hold their position but can be re-adjusted by loosening the collar and repositioning.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 215mm projection from the ceiling makes the Diama suitable for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3-2.7m. It works in spaces where a pendant would hang too low or obstruct circulation.

How is the backplate fitted?

The diamond-cut backplate mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box. The fixture weighs 3kg, so the ceiling fixing must be secure enough to support this load.
