Description

The Destro-E is an LED flush ceiling light built from several curved arms that cross one another as they spread out from a round ceiling base. The body is black aluminium and steel, and each arm carries a white plastic diffuser, so the light reads as fine white lines against the black. It measures 37cm long, 35.5cm wide and 10cm high. Integrated LEDs give 1,500 lumens of warm white light at 3000K. The IP20 rating settles where it can go: it is made for dry rooms indoors, so keep it away from bathrooms and outdoor spaces.

Because it drops just 10cm from the ceiling, it suits rooms where headroom matters, such as a bedroom, a hallway or a living room with a lower ceiling, where a pendant would get in the way. The crossing arms give a plain ceiling a sculptural centrepiece without eating into the room, and the black and white pairing sits comfortably in modern and monochrome schemes. With 1,500 lumens at 3000K, it can serve as the main light in a room, giving a warm, relaxed tone that suits evenings at home.

Aluminium and steel make up the black body and white plastic forms the diffusers, and the whole fitting weighs 0.35KG.
