The Delmar is a 360mm square flush ceiling light built around a central cluster of Asfour crystal spheres set on a French gold backplate, framed by a frosted glass panel with a clear glass outer border. Four G9 bulb fittings sit behind the crystal arrangement, casting light through the spheres and onto the gold surface beneath, creating reflected patterns across the frosted glass diffuser.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m where a pendant would hang too low, the Delmar's 150mm projection keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the 360mm square footprint provides enough visual presence to anchor a room up to 4m wide. The flush mount works in hallways, bedrooms, low-ceilinged sitting rooms and bathrooms (provided the fitting is installed outside zones requiring IP rating). The frosted glass softens the direct glare from the bulbs while the clear border defines the square edge and prevents the diffuser looking visually soft.

The French gold finish is a warmer, slightly brushed gold tone rather than bright polished brass, pairing well with warm oak, walnut and mid-tone grey interiors. The Asfour crystal is precision-cut leaded glass from Egypt, giving sharper refraction than standard glass spheres. Each sphere catches and multiplies the light from the four G9 bulbs, creating a decorative centre point within the flush mount format. The fitting weighs 3.3kg once assembled, requiring secure fixing into a ceiling joist or plasterboard anchor rated for the load.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Delmar takes four G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are not included. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting in living spaces.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Not all LED G9 bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb packaging before pairing with a dimmer.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 150mm projection from ceiling to base of fitting makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards. In rooms below 2.3m the fitting may feel visually heavy; in rooms above 3m a semi-flush or pendant might provide better scale.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Delmar does not carry an IP rating, so it must be installed outside bathroom zones requiring moisture protection. It can be used in larger bathrooms where the fitting is more than 600mm from the edge of a bath or shower enclosure.
